I’m Russ Woolsey, founder of Daylodge. During the Covid-19 lockdown, when public spaces closed and getting outside meant finding new ways to explore, I started looking at vehicles differently. They weren’t just transportation anymore. They became places to work, eat, relax, gear up, and reconnect with the outdoors.
That idea became Daylodge.
Our mission is simple: Create Your Space. Wherever you go, we believe you should be able to quickly create a comfortable, functional space that makes spending time outside better.
We design technical outdoor gear around one question:
How can we give you more usable space without giving you more stuff to carry?
It started with the AirHaven Awning—an inflatable vehicle awning designed to create instant shade and shelter wherever you set up basecamp.
Inspired by years of kiteboarding, I wanted to build something that used the power of air in a smarter way: lightweight, compact, durable, and incredibly quick to deploy. The result is an awning that transforms the space beside your vehicle into a comfortable outdoor room—without the weight, poles, and complexity of traditional awnings.
