Questions

Do I need a roof rack?

No. Roof rack tie-downs and vinyl-coated flat hooks come in the box, and FlexMount™ adhesive anchors handle vehicles with no rails at all — no drilling.

Is a pump included?

No. The awning inflates with any standard high-volume SUP, raft, kayak or kitesurf pump. See the pump guide for what works.

What happens in wind?

It flexes and pops back instead of snapping, because there is nothing rigid in it. The line is designed and wind-tested in the Columbia River Gorge, which is the wind sport capital of North America. Stake it down with an annex wall when it really blows.

How does it pack down?

Deflate it, fold it and it stows in the bag it came with. Nothing lives on your roof year-round. The factory fold guide shows the way it was packed at the factory.
