We are here to service what we build.
Every Daylodge product carries a lifetime warranty against defects in materials and factory workmanship. If something we made is wrong, we repair it or replace it. No registration, no fee, no argument.
Anything that traces back to us. Material defects in fabric, air bladders, coatings or taped seams. Build-quality failures in welds, bonding, stitching, hardware, valves or zippers. If it failed in a way it shouldn't have under normal use, that's ours.
Outdoor gear lives outdoors. Normal wear and tear is not a defect — it's the product doing its job.
This is the part that matters. If it isn't covered, we still want to hear about it. We keep parts, we do repairs, and we'll quote you a fair price — almost always far less than replacing it. Gear that goes back into the field is the better outcome for both of us.
That's a different door, and it's open too. Our 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee covers the first thirty days after delivery — we pay the return shipping, and exchanges are free. The warranty covers something being wrong with what we built, for as long as you own it.
Send us photos of the problem, your order number if you have it, and a line about what happened. Get in touch here.
We'll usually sort it out from photos. If we need to see the product, we'll tell you where to send it — you cover shipping it to us, and we cover the repair and the trip back to you. No deadline, no age cutoff. Six months old or six years old, same answer.
We answer our own email.
Everything above is the deal. This is the same deal written the way it needs to be written to still mean something in year five.
What this is. The Daylodge Limited Lifetime Warranty. Daylodge Gear, a company of RoadVoya LLC, warrants to the original purchaser that each Daylodge product is free from defects in materials and factory workmanship.
Who it covers. The original purchaser, whether you bought from us directly or from an authorized Daylodge dealer. It is not transferable and ends if you sell or give the product away. Keep your order number or receipt — we need proof of purchase to open a claim.
What "lifetime" means. The usable service life of the product as we originally built it, for as long as the original purchaser owns it. It does not mean your lifetime, and it does not mean a product that has reached the end of its service life through ordinary use gets replaced indefinitely.
What we will do. At our election we will repair the product, replace it with the same model or the closest current equivalent, or — where neither is practical, including where a model has been discontinued — credit you the lesser of what you paid or that product's current price. Repair, replacement or credit is your sole and exclusive remedy under this warranty. We will tell you which we are doing and why.
What is excluded. In addition to the exclusions above: accident, misuse, neglect and improper storage; modification, or repair by anyone other than Daylodge or someone we authorize; use beyond the product's rated wind, load or operating conditions; improper installation or failure to follow the product manual; cosmetic marks that do not affect function; and commercial, rental, fleet or demo use.
Shipping on a claim. You cover the cost of shipping the product to Daylodge. We cover the repair or replacement and the cost of shipping it back to you. There is no time limit on this and no deadline for making a claim. Please use a traceable shipping method — we cannot be responsible for a package that never reaches us. Where a product arrives defective, damaged in transit, or is not the product you ordered, we cover shipping in both directions; see our 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee and Shipping & Returns pages.
How we decide. We review photos first and may ask you to send the product in so we can inspect it. We make that determination reasonably and in good faith, and we tell you what we found.
Limits. Daylodge is not liable for incidental or consequential damages arising from a product defect. Any implied warranties that apply to a product, including the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited in duration to the duration of this warranty. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, or limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so those limitations may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
Which version applies. The version of these terms in effect on the date your order shipped applies to your product. These terms form part of our Terms and Conditions of Sale.
