Perfect gadget for camping with a van

The camp kitchen stores everything you need for camping with a van. I gave it to my sister for her birthday and she loved it!!! She likes to camp without a large vehicle or oversized equipment. That's why the camp kitchen is perfect. They really thought of everything.

The only downside is the cost of shipping and customs duties to Europe. All in all, it's an expensive gadget that I was only willing to pay for because it was a special birthday. But my sister's joy made it worth it.

Also, very friendly customer service.

My Camp Kitchen

I love it! There are so many ways to use this portable work station, but yes, top of the list just may be a camp kitchen - it's perfect.

I am making plans to get out and enjoy it, and can't wait toll the fall and winter. Hope I can share photos down the road.

Not built to last

The say pictures are worth a thousand words. After 5 trips, and 1 year, 3 months, and 3 weeks since purchasing new at the Redmond Oregon Overland Expo, the pack is falling apart. At this price point, I expect something to be more durable.

I have no warranty claim because I can't prove purchase. If you're able to find warranty information on their website, which isn't easy, it simply states "Our products carry a limited manufacturer's warranty, under the terms in effect when your order shipped. Those terms come on the warranty card packed with your product, and we will send them to you on request — email [****]."... in other words, purchase the product and we'll tell you!

In my case, since I purchased it at the expo, there wasn't a box, warranty card, or receipt. The sold out much faster than expected and rush through the night to offer more product. Upon purchase, the bag was simply handed to me, and my brother who purchased one as well, with chalk marks still present... the team had been up all night cutting and sewing away, with little or no time to thoroughly clean or package the bags. In other words, it was the perfect storm to set me up for failure and loss! The bag is useless to me now and I've no intent of handing Daylodge another $300.00 for this result.

Hi Robert, we received the bag back with the return label we sent you. This is an isolated problem. Again, we were sorry to hear about the bags material ripping. With this bag in hand, we are reviewing for improved future designs. We hope you enjoy your new replacement bag for years to come. -Russ @daylodgegear

Saw it at Overland Expo in Colorado and really liked it but was unsure if it would fit all my gear. Went home took out my gear and realized it more would cover it. So, ordered anyway and lost the shiw discount. However, the quality and design are amazing. My camp kitchen gear fits great.

We are glad you came and saw us at Overland Expo Mt West. Thank you for the great feedback and purchase. We are happy to know the bag fits your needs! We hope to see you again at the Overland show.

Love our workspace!

We bought this at Overland Expo Mountain West a few weeks ago. It’s so versatile. My husband prefers the set up for coffee, but I think we need a second for cocktails! ;-)

Questions

What's the difference between Camp Kitchen and Field Bag?

Same bag. The Camp Kitchen build has the bottle panel. The Field Bag build swaps it for the tray. Both come with the utensil panel.

How does it attach to my vehicle?

It works on any table or tailgate as is, and the built-in lid straps hang it from SUV factory roof racks. For anything else, add the Mounting Kit and pick where it goes: Universal Mounts for racks, beds, doors and swing gates, FlexMount Rubber Straps for MOLLE panels and van ladders, FlexMount Anchors where there's nothing to hook to.

What if my vehicle has no attachment points?

Pick "Nothing to hook to". FlexMount Anchors stick on and add tie-down points, and the Universal Mounts hook onto them.

Is the Camp Collection a better deal?

Yes, if you want the whole kit. It's the Camp Kitchen plus Cold Cube, Wet Dry 100, Stash 16 and 64, the Blade Sheath, backpack straps and the Mounting Kit, for less than those pieces cost one by one.

Can I use it as a desk?

Yes. The sleeve pockets take a laptop or tablet, and the fold-out surface is a working desk height on a tailgate.

Does the cutting board come out?

Yes. The bamboo board lifts out for use and cleaning, and drops back into its sleeve when you pack up.

Create your space

Pick a build and a colorway, add a Mounting Kit if it hangs, and it ships to your door.
